Walk to Casotto Castle and guided tour

Would you like to learn about the fascinating history of Casotto Castle from a brand new perspective? Immersed in nature, we will walk through the centuries-old woods surrounding this extraordinary Royal Residence, the hunting lodge of the Savoy family. With a guided walk starting from the typical village of Valcasotto, we will walk a short and easy route to Casotto Castle. This is followed by a guided tour of the castle.

Notes: the hike will also take place in light rain (equip yourself with umbrella or waterproof cape). For the morning shift only: packed lunch at participants' expense. Upon request, it will be possible to request the "gourmet" picnic basket provided by the Locanda del Mulino (cost 13 euros, includes: bread, 2 cheeses, 2 cold cuts, slice of omelet, hamlet tart and small bottle of water; complimentary coffee on return to those who return trash from the basket at the Locanda del Mulino to allow for proper disposal).
