A narrator will guide you on a journey of discovery through this extraordinary heritage of art and faith, which recounts the city’s religious, artistic, and civic history across the centuries.
Inside the Baptistery, let yourself be enveloped by an immersive digital narrative that gives voice to sculptures, architectural elements, and symbols, restoring to them the depth of time.
And then, head up. The Cathedral’s bell tower is opening its interior path to the public for the first time, leading to a prime vantage point where Volterra and the surrounding landscape are revealed in all their beauty.

The discounted ticket is available to: visitors between the ages of 6 and 24, and Volterra Card holders.
Free admission is available to: visitors aged 0 to 5 (for visits to the Baptistery and the Cathedral), residents of municipalities within the Diocese of Volterra, people with disabilities (free admission for a companion upon presentation of a Disability Card marked with an “A” or an INPS certificate indicating the right to a companion), and licensed tour guides and tour leaders (upon presentation of their license at the ticket office at the time of the visit). Accredited journalists may request free admission by contacting us at least 24 hours in advance via email at booking@kalata.it

- It is forbidden to bring in animals of any kind. For safety reasons, the only animals allowed are companion dogs for people with disabilities
