Rediscovered through the major exhibition “The Renaissance of Gaudentius” (2018), Varallo, with its Sacro Monte rising on the top of a rocky spur, is a magical place nestled in the green woods of the Sesia Valley. To give an account of the extraordinary tale of art and spirituality that has affected this unique site, Kalatà has designed a proposed cultural and tourist visit, in collaboration with the Sacred Mounts Management Authority, The City of Varallo, the Pinacoteca of Varallo and the Cultural Association Tourist Guides of Sacro Monte, soon to be accessible by the public.
