As of April 1,2022 – following the publication in the Official Gazette of Decree-Law No. 24 ofMarch 24, 2022 – it is possible to plan educational outings and organize school trips. After two years of the pandemic, kids and teachers will finally be able to set aside virtual tours and rediscover live places and monuments.

If you are looking for the wow effect, here we are ready to welcome your institute’s alumni with three high-involvement, must-do tours. Emotion, art, history, discovery… Kalatá’s guided tours-addressed to schools of all levels and differentiated on the basis of age-can be activated at all times, by reservation.

Opting for a 2022 visit will entitle you to a 10 euro/class discount.

Basilica of Santa Maria delle Vigne in Genoa

Discovering the origins of the Basilica and the history of Genoa

Young visitors will be able to step into the shoes of a restorer, climb onto construction scaffolding and hunt for hidden clues to rediscover the history of one of the city’s oldest medieval basilicas. Built shortly before the year 1000 in an area of countryside planted with vines, hence the origin of the name, today the Basilica is located in the historic center and encompasses the complex and rich artistic stratification of the city.
