City discovery tour and ascent to the dome of San Gaudentius

A morning walk(meet at 10 a.m. under the porticos of the Cathedral) to discover the historic center of Novara, which, in the shadow of its bold and scenic Dome, is full of interesting monuments and striking views.

This tour will take you through the elegant arcaded streets and squares of its historic center, such as Piazza delle Erbe, with its unusual triangular shape, the beating heart of the medieval city.

They will admire the monumental Basilica of San Gaudentius, the Cathedral of Santa Maria, the work of Alessandro Antonelli, in front of which is the early Christian Baptistery, and the monumental complex of the Broletto, built in the early 13th century.
