The WiMu - Wine Museum in Barolo remembers Juliette Colbert Falletti on the anniversary of her birth on June 26, 1785, and two hundred years since the founding of the Barolo Social District. The Wine Museum is offering the special tour "Giulia, Marquise of Barolo," a themed guided experience to learn more about the history of the last Marquise of Barolo, an extraordinary character who, together with her husband Carlo Tancredi Falletti, had the central and modern intuition to create a link between care, education and culture to help the last.
The guided tour of the Falletti Municipal Castle-where the marquises loved to spend their vacations-will take place on the main floor, among the manor's 19th-century rooms and the fairest spaces to trace the marquises' biography. Rooms and halls that will suggest insights and stories to discover in particular the multifaceted figure of Giulia Falletti, between charity work and the first steps of Barolo wine.
