A visit to the exhibition is a journey into the mind and working habits of one of the greatest interpreters of the Italian Renaissance. For the first time in 550 years, the parts of Piero della Francesca's Augustinian Polyptych, which was dismembered and dispersed in various parts of the world, are talking to each other again. The extraordinary plates brought together and studied by great historians and scientists enable this grand pictorial undertaking to be approached from art historical, scientific and technical perspectives.
