Discover the Castle of Mombasiglio, located in the charming historic village, and visit the General Bonaparte Museum housed within it. The museum’s itinerary will allow you to revisit the history of the First Italian Campaign, led by Napoleon, through the eyes of the Turin painter Giuseppe Pietro Bagetti, via forty-four engravings taken from as many watercolors by the artist. Commissioned by Napoleon himself to celebrate his own exploits, these works are a very detailed geographic, economic, and social reconnaissance of the Monregalese and Cebano territories at the end of the 18th century. The collection is completed by fine uniforms, collections of lead soldiers, battle models, busts, and paintings. A visit to the Museum allows you to explore the rooms of the Castle and climb its tower to admire a splendid panorama.
