Significant sums were spent on the execution of this masterpiece, a fresco embellished with large amounts of gold, lapis lazuli and silver, chosen and purchased directly by the artist. The painting, executed at the 15th-century Chapel of St. George or Palatine Chapel of the Broletto, was lost in the course of the palace&#8217;s architectural remodeling, fueling fantasies and legends over the centuries. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 1985, during a restoration site, fragments of the sky, views of cities with Gothic towers, fortified villages, and green hills resurfaced as evidence of the work done in Brescia by Gentile da Fabriano.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":4918,"template":"","class_list":["post-8295","esperienza","type-esperienza","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/kalata.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/esperienza\/8295","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/kalata.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/esperienza"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/kalata.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/esperienza"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/kalata.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/4918"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/kalata.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=8295"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
